We offer many services that will bring your concept to life. We can take 2-D concept drawings and make them into 3-D files that can be easily transferred and built on one of our machines. Below is a complete list of services we offer.

3-D Prototyping:

The main focus of Toledo Prototype is the ability to create 3-D physical models from your .stl or other 3-D Cad file. 3-D Prototyping has been an emerging tool used by many companies in their initial development stages. This process allows a company to see a physical product before having to order expensive tooling. A prototyped model can save thousands of dollars and is an easy way to spot flaws in a design before committing to production. Another advantage is the time. FDM Models:

Our FDM models can serve many purposes. FDM technology uses ABS plastic that is printed in thin layers to produce a physical part. These models can be printed with a honeycomb interior for display purposes or physical analysis. The solid option is great for parts that need to be functional or more representative of a final product. ABS is strong enough to be used in most applications as a working part.

Z Corp Models:

Z Corp models are great for a detailed representation of a final product. These models can print with a layer thickness of .0035 inches. The resolution is close to an inkjet printer since this machine uses a similar technology. Most Z Corp models are not strong enough to be considered functional but are made extremely fast and are very affordable.

Limited Production:

If your company has designed a product and only need a limited production run, 3-D printing may be your solution. Ordering tooling for a small production run may be too expensive and cause the price of the final product to be too high. By using parts produced in a prototype machine, you can avoid ordering the expensive tooling and rely on us. Usually this option is economical for runs that will require less than 100 units made.

Design Service:

In order to have a part modeled, we require an .stl file or other 3-D cad file. If you do not have a 3-D file but want a model made, this service may work for you. Toledo Prototype makes it our goal to meet all of our customer's needs. This is why we are willing to work seven days a week. This will help companies meet their deadlines which is what we like to see. We also offer personal delivery to areas near Toledo including Detroit. This means that as soon as your model is ready, you are only hours away from receiving it. Our shipping options include economical ground shipping or overnight air shipment. We also allow personal pick up of any product. We have tried to make our service as convenient to our customer's as possible and any arrangements can be made.
